Where do the IPs come from?
Our own network of residential and mobile devices. Owners explicitly opt in through a consumer application, receive value in exchange for sharing spare bandwidth, and can withdraw at any time. We do not resell proxies.
What can ports.io see?
Connection metadata, including destination hostname, timing, and volume. We do not decrypt customer traffic or perform TLS interception. On participating devices, we do not collect files, browsing history, or personal information.
How is the network protected?
Business verification before provisioning, destinations restricted to ports 80 and 443, and abuse monitoring with human review. Government, banking, adult content, and survey-fraud destinations are blocked by default. Fraud, malware, and unauthorized access are prohibited.
